End of Semester Stuff

Hi all!

We are almost there!  We have the astronomy final next week (Monday the 16th for period 3, Tuesday the 17th for period 4) and that will be all.  At this point I expect you to be preparing for that final and to be working to improve your grade.  The best way to improve your grade AND prepare for the final is to do test corrections and complete a test retake.

To do a retake, you first must correct your test.

Here are copies of all of our tests:

Unit 1 Seasons
Unit 2 Moon
Unit 3 Solar System
Unit 4 Universe

Here is the template and instructions for writing your corrections.

Here is a spreadsheet with all of your test answers, as well as the answer key.  This will let you know what you did wrong on the tests.

Once you complete the corrections please give them to me and I'll give you the retake version of the test to complete in class.  You may also complete outside of classtime by appointment.

Black holes..

.. scare me.  Fortunately, I'll never have to worry about confronting one.

Let's simulate that horrifying scenario today online!
